② Ningle Terrace

As you walk along the wooden paths surrounded by trees, you may feel as if you have entered a magical storybook world. The atmosphere changes beautifully with weather, from fresh greenery to misty, dreamlike scenery.
③ Hokuseiyama Lavender Garden
Take a lift ride up the hillside to admire panoramic views over Furano’s lavender fields and the Tokachi mountain range. During the blooming season, the purple fields stretch across the landscape, creating a vibrant contrast with the sky. The gentle fragrance of lavender and open scenery provide a relaxing and refreshing experience.
④ Farm Tomita
One of Hokkaido’s most famous flower fields awaits you. Seasonal blooms paint the land in vivid colors, with lavender being the highlight in early summer. Walk through beautifully arranged fields and enjoy the iconic scenery that represents Hokkaido worldwide. Even outside peak bloom, carefully maintained flower gardens offer stunning photo opportunities throughout the season.
⑤ Blue Pond (Biei)
Discover a surreal, otherworldly landscape at this famous pond known for its vivid blue color. The unique hue changes depending on sunlight, weather, and seasons, making each visit slightly different. Dead tree trunks rising from the water add to the mysterious beauty, creating a scene that feels almost unreal.
⑥ Shirahige Waterfall (Biei)
Admire the powerful Shirahige Waterfall, where streams of water cascade like white threads into a striking blue river below. The contrast between the flowing water, rugged rocks, and surrounding forest creates a dramatic view throughout the year. Seasonal changes such as fresh greenery or autumn foliage further enhance its beauty.
⑦ Shikisai no Oka (Biei)
Continue to a vast panoramic flower field spread across gently rolling hills. Shikisai no Oka is known for its colorful patchwork of seasonal flowers arranged in sweeping stripes across the landscape. From spring to autumn, different blooms create ever-changing scenery, while distant mountains complete the breathtaking views. This is one of the most photogenic locations in Hokkaido, offering wide-open spaces and a true sense of freedom.
⑧ Sounkyo Onsen (Overnight Stay)
Arrive in one of Hokkaido’s most famous hot spring areas, located at the foot of the Daisetsuzan mountain range. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and untouched nature, this hot spring resort offers a peaceful retreat. Relax in the soothing atmosphere and enjoy the quiet beauty of Hokkaido’s wilderness.
⑨ Ginga and Ryusei Waterfalls
The next morning, visit two of Japan’s “Top 100 Waterfalls.” Known as the “Galaxy Falls” and “Shooting Star Falls,” these cascades flow side by side down steep cliffs, each showing a different character. Their beauty changes with the seasons and weather, offering a refreshing and scenic stop in nature.
⑩ Asahiyama Zoo
End your journey at Japan’s northernmost zoo, famous for its innovative enclosures that allow you to observe animals up close as they move naturally. Watch seals glide through vertical glass tunnels and see animals behaving freely in thoughtfully designed environments. Seasonal conditions may influence what you can see, adding to the uniqueness of each visit.
