Overview
Conquer Japan’s tallest peak on a 2-day Mt. Fuji climbing tour from Tokyo, specially designed for first-time climbers. Departing from Shinjuku, this guided adventure takes you along the beginner-friendly Yoshida Trail, with an overnight stay at the 8th Station’s Hakuunso mountain hut. Enjoy privacy-enhancing curtain partitions, multilingual guide support, and breathtaking summit views at sunrise.
What You'll Do
Meet your group in Shinjuku and board a comfortable round-trip bus to Mt. Fuji’s Subaru Line 5th Station. After arrival around 11:00 AM, you’ll have time to enjoy lunch on your own and store any unneeded luggage either on the bus or in coin lockers at the rest area.
Around noon, begin your ascent along the Yoshida Trail with a certified bilingual mountain guide who provides steady pacing, route safety, and multilingual support in English and Chinese. The hike to the 8th Station takes approximately 5 hours.
Stay overnight at Hakuunso, a reputable mountain hut with dormitory-style sleeping quarters featuring privacy curtains. Dinner is served at the hut, allowing you to recharge before the early-morning summit push.
At midnight, begin the final leg of the climb. After 2–4 hours of hiking, you’ll arrive at the summit in time to witness the stunning sunrise (weather permitting) and enjoy a light bento breakfast. After a short rest, begin your descent and return to the 5th Station by late morning. The tour concludes in Shinjuku by approximately 2:00 PM.
