1. Reception at Arashiyama Tusen North Pier
2. Departure

   A private yakatabune (houseboat) that leisurely cruises around the Oi River upstream from Togetsukyo Bridge. While floating in the refreshing air, spend an exceptionally luxurious time amidst the scenery of Arashikyo gorge.

   
3. The boat is propelled by a single pole operated by the boatman

   Skilled boatmen use traditional techniques to navigate the yakatabune with a single bamboo pole, a unique experience. Arashiyama Tusen, established in 1912, continues this manual boat handling tradition.

   
4. Enjoy a Kyoto-style bento box

   Six bento box options are provided for your enjoyment during the boat's leisurely cruise.
