One of Aso’s iconic spots, Kusasenri offers stunning views of Mount Naka emitting smoke, a large pond, and grazing horses. Enjoy the vast and beautiful scenery.
Mount Aso Crater
Visit the active Mount Naka crater, a massive 4-kilometer-wide volcanic crater. Witness the dynamic landscape and white smoke rising up close.

Ikeyama Spring
Ikeyama Spring, selected as one of the "100 Exquisite and Well-Conserved Waters" by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment, boasts a constant temperature of 13.5°C and abundant water flow of 30 tons per minute. Surrounded by ancient trees over 200 years old, the area exudes a mystical atmosphere.
Kokonoe "Yume" Suspension Bridge
Located in Kokonoe Town, Oita, this pedestrian-only suspension bridge is Japan’s tallest at 173 meters and spans 390 meters. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the bridge, especially during the vibrant autumn foliage in early November.

Driver speaks only Japanese; simple communication via translation app is possible.
Please note that access to the Mt. Aso crater may be restricted due to volcanic activity, weather, or other safety reasons. In such cases, the tour will visit the Mt. Aso Sanjo Terminal area instead. Guests with respiratory or heart conditions, or those feeling unwell, are advised not to enter the crater area due to volcanic gases.
The Kusasenri and Mt. Aso crater areas are subject to heavy traffic congestion, especially on weekends and holidays. Please note that sightseeing time at each location may be shortened, or we may be forced to change or cancel the itinerary if the destination is unreachable due to traffic conditions. We appreciate your understanding.

The itinerary includes a 1-hour lunch break. Please discuss the timing with the driver on the day of the tour.

If you wish to disembark at a location other than Yufuin, please contact us before booking.
During winter, there is a possibility of snowfall. While the vehicle is equipped with snow tires, safe driving may be difficult, and certain roads may be closed due to snow.
